Terms of sale.

Aratrikkaz is the trading name of Aratrikkaz Pty Ltd, an Australian company registered in Victoria. Founder and designer: Ketki Gupta.

When you commission a piece, you agree it will be made to the measurements you supplied. We confirm the chart with you before the loom is booked. Lead time is shown at the time of order.

All prices on the site are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST. Where indicated, duties are paid for shipping to AU · NZ · SG · UK · US · CA · UAE. Other markets are quoted at the time of order.

Payment is taken at the time of order via Stripe. We do not store your card number — Stripe holds it under PCI-DSS Level 1.

Up until the loom is booked, you can cancel without penalty by writing to Ketki. After the loom is booked (typically within 48 hours of order), cancellation may incur a fabric-cut charge — we tell you the figure before we book.

All Aratrikkaz pieces are made to order — woven, embroidered, or hand-finished to the measurements and specifications you supplied at the time of order. Because each garment is produced specifically for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges once production has begun.

This policy applies to all bespoke and made-to-order garments including sarees, lehengas, salwar suits, dupattas, and any piece listed with a lead time. Ready-made stock items (where available) follow our standard exchange policy as detailed at the time of listing.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this policy. If a piece arrives with a manufacturing defect or is materially different from what was described, write to Ketki within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.

The designs, patterns, and editorial copy on Aratrikkaz are owned by Aratrikkaz Pty Ltd. The traditional crafts themselves — chikankari, banarasi zari, bandhani, zardozi, gota patti, mukaish — are the lineage of the karigar communities who practice them; we are stewards, not owners. Imagery of a piece you've purchased is yours to share.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law permits, our liability for anything else is limited to the price you paid for the piece.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute that can't be resolved by writing to Ketki is heard in the courts of VIC.
