The 30-day window

If a piece arrives and isn't right, write to Ketki within 30 days of receipt. We'll arrange the return at our cost and refund to the original method.

Made-to-order pieces — the difference

Most of what we make is cut to your measurements. We confirm the measurement chart with you before the loom is booked. Made-to-order pieces aren't returnable for change of mind alone, because they've been cut for you specifically. They remain fully covered by your Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees — see below.

Your consumer guarantees

Every piece sold by Aratrikkaz to an Australian customer is covered by the consumer guarantees set out in the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This is not optional, and it is not something we can contract out of. The guarantees apply regardless of whether a piece was made to order.

If a piece is faulty, has been misdescribed, or is materially different from what was shown, you are entitled to a remedy — repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the issue. See the ACCC's plain-English explainer at accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees.

How to start a return

Three paths, whichever is easiest:

    The fastest — write to Ketki and she'll arrange courier pickup the same working day.

  • The contact form

    Use /contact — name, order number, and a line on what isn't right.

  • Email

    hello@aratrikkaz.com — same working-day response from Melbourne.

For Australian customers, the atelier arranges courier pickup at our cost.

Refund timing

Refunds land in the original payment method within 7 business days of the piece being received back at the Melbourne atelier.

For international customers

Local consumer-protection law in your country may also apply. We honour whichever is more generous. Write to Ketki if you need a return shipped from outside Australia — we arrange it case by case.
