The craft
Chikankari. Made by hand.
Chikankari is worked entirely by hand in a series of fine running and shadow stitches. The tonal peach thread against the peach ground means the texture carries the detail rather than colour contrast — identical technique to the lavender version, differing only in colourway.

Designed in Melbourne. Cut and finished in our Patel Nagar workshop — twenty craftspeople, nineteen years together. Banarasi, Bandhani, Chikankari, and Phulkari pieces come from partner sources in their home clusters.
