The craft
Chikankari. Made by hand.
Lucknowi work — the chikankari tradition — is worked in fine white-thread shadow stitching across the choli, finished with a beaded pearl trim rather than left plain. The lehenga's floral print is digital rather than block-printed, which is what allows the fine, layered floral detail across the full skirt.
