About the garment

The craft

The neckline and front-panel embroidery is bead-work set directly into velvet — a fabric that takes beading well because of its weight and pile. The 's brasso-velvet base is separately digitally printed, giving it a soft floral pattern that a plain velvet dupatta wouldn't carry.
