About the garment

A made-to-order set — a hand-embroidered corset blouse paired with a lehenga and in chinon — built to the customer's own colour and size rather than drawn from standing stock. The corset gives structural definition through the waist, cut fresh for each commission rather than altered from a fixed pattern.

The craft

Because this piece is made to order, the embroidery and colourway are confirmed with the customer before any cloth is cut — the green shown is the starting reference, not a fixed final colour. Chinon is the default fabric for the commission, chosen for how cleanly it carries the 's flare.
