About the garment

A Farshi set — a floor-length, flared salwar traditionally associated with Lucknow's Farshi Pajama style — in orange, one of the more formal and structurally distinct silhouettes in the release. The shirt and are chinon; the salwar itself is cut in jamawar, a heavier fabric that gives the floor-length flare its structure and weight when it pools rather than gathers.

The craft

The embroidery is a mix of hand and machine work, placed to balance density against the cost and time each technique demands — hand work where precision is needed, machine work across broader areas for consistency. Using jamawar for the specifically, rather than matching the shirt and fabric, is what gives this piece its price position toward the top of the current release.
