Sapphire Bandhani Fusion Gown

A bias-cut floor-length gown in georgette with a fitted bodice and dramatic sweep. The fabric is hand-tied bandhani from Kutch, dyed in a deep sapphire with cream dots. Cap sleeves, deep V-back, no embellishment — the textile is the entire moment.

The bandhani is tied and dyed by the Khatri community of Bhuj, who finger-tie thousands of tiny knots into the fabric before dyeing — each dot is one knot, untied after the colour sets. The cream of the dots is the original fabric showing through.
