Diwali 2026.
Order-by dates by city.
Diwali 2026 falls on a Tuesday. Lead times from the Melbourne atelier to four diaspora cities — what to order, and when.

Diwali 2026 falls on Tuesday, 10 November. That sounds far away until the loom calendar starts to fill. A made-to-measure festive piece is not a parcel pulled from a shelf. It moves through cloth selection, cutting, stitching, finishing, and the kind of final checking that should never happen at midnight before a courier collection.
For most Aratrikkaz pieces, allow four to eight weeks from confirmed measurements. Heavier heirloom work needs eight to twelve. If the piece includes unusual embroidery, hand finishing, or a blouse that needs fit conversation, build in more time rather than less.
For Melbourne and Sydney, a comfortable order-by date is mid-September. For Auckland, Singapore, the UK, Canada, the UAE, and the US, I would rather see your brief by the start of September. Shipping is only one part of the timing; the real bottleneck is the workroom.
If you come late, there may still be a good answer. Ready-to-wear, pre-draped sarees, and simpler kurta sets can move faster. The stylist call is where we decide whether speed still gives you something beautiful, or whether waiting for the right cloth is the more honest answer.
