About the garment
A floor-length anarkali in soft cotton-georgette, embroidered all over in white-on-white chikankari. Long sleeves, churidar pants, and a sheer dupatta with a delicate chikan border. Built for daylight events — mehendi, haldi, Eid lunches.
The craft
Hand-embroidered over four weeks by the chikankari artisans of Lucknow, using six different stitches that catch light differently — bakhiya, hool, ghaas patti, jaali, keel kangan, and phanda. The work is on both sides; turn the dupatta inside out and you'll see the same level of finish.
Styling notes
- Pair with simple gold studs and a slim bangle stack
- Khussas or flat juttis in tan or white
- Hair down with soft waves keeps it feeling daytime-soft
- Add a contrast oxidised silver belt for a more cocktail register

- Hand-wash cold in a mild detergent · do not wring
- Dry flat in shade — direct sun yellows white cotton over time
- Iron from the reverse side on medium heat to protect the embroidery
