About the garment
A straight-cut knee-length kurta in soft ivory cotton with hand-worked phulkari (the colourful Punjabi silk-thread embroidery) at the yoke and sleeve hems. Paired with wide-leg pants and a sheer dupatta with phulkari border.
The craft
Phulkari — literally 'flower work' — is the women's embroidery tradition of Punjab. Our pieces are worked by a small collective via the partner Jaipur atelier, in traditional geometric patterns and Punjabi colour combinations.
